The Challenge
In early 2025, we were tasked with designing a custom t-shirt for an elite athlete’s appearance at a major international powerlifting championship. The goal? Create a design that blends national pride, strength, and bold athleticism — all within a tight 5-day deadline. This wasn’t just apparel; it was a statement.
The Approach
We jumped into rapid ideation, using AI-assisted tools to quickly generate concepts. The winning idea featured a muscular lion lifting weights — a powerful symbol uniting athleticism and cultural pride. Our illustrators then refined the design by hand, crafting two dynamic color variants: one with energetic navy and cyan, and another with vibrant navy and saffron to honor heritage. Strong typography and motivational taglines like “Believe | Stand | Respect” completed the look, turning a t-shirt into a wearable emblem of strength.
The Outcome
Despite the project being paused due to client changes, we completed the entire front-and-back design within 48 hours. This project showcases our ability to deliver fast, high-quality custom sportswear designs that balance precision, creativity, and cultural storytelling. Whether for local teams or international events, Das Design Studio creates apparel that stands out and inspires.
